Common use of Apprentice Supervision Clause in Contracts

Apprentice Supervision. The apprentice is to be under the supervision of an Installer/Technician, a Technician level employee, or a qualified supervisor. Supervision will not be of a nature that prevents the development of responsibility and initiative. The apprentice shall be permitted to perform any and all job tasks in order to properly develop trade skills and become proficient in the work processes associated with the trade. Installer/Technicians and Technicians are not required to constantly watch or observe the work of the apprentice- The apprentice is not prohibited from working alone when the Installer/Technician, Technician or Supervisor is required to leave or is absent from the job.
