Common use of Appointment of an Interim Chancellor or Interim Xxxxxxx and Vice Clause in Contracts

Appointment of an Interim Chancellor or Interim Xxxxxxx and Vice. Chancellor. Absent circumstances that, in the judgment of the Board, require that the position of Chancellor or Xxxxxxx and Vice Chancellor be immediately filled on an interim basis, at least one representative of the University will consult with at least one representative from the Faculty Association before filling either of such positions on an interim basis. It is anticipated that such consultation shall take place over a short period of time. Nothing in this Section shall be interpreted to interfere with the University’s right to either fill such positions on an interim basis or consult with University constituency groups such as the Faculty Senate and Graduate Council.
