Common use of Appointment as Agent Clause in Contracts

Appointment as Agent. The Agency hereby appoints the Lessee its true and lawful agent, and the Lessee hereby accepts such agency for purposes of undertaking the Project, with the same powers and with the same validity and effect as the Agency could do if acting in its own behalf, including: effecting the Project; making, executing, acknowledging and delivering any contracts, orders, receipts, writings and instructions with any other persons or entities (subject in each case to the requirements of this Agreement), and in general doing all things which may be requisite or proper, all for the purposes of undertaking the Project, and the Lessee agrees to pay, all fees, costs and expenses incurred with respect to the Project from its own funds or borrowed funds made available therefor by the Lessee.
