Application to Entities Clause Samples

The 'Application to Entities' clause defines how the terms of an agreement extend to organizations, companies, or other legal entities, rather than just individuals. It typically clarifies that the rights, obligations, or restrictions outlined in the contract apply equally to entities such as corporations, partnerships, or government bodies. This ensures that the agreement covers all relevant parties, not just natural persons, thereby preventing ambiguity about who is bound by or benefits from the contract's provisions.

A “Special Purpose Entity” means (i) an entity formed or availed of principally for the purpose of acquiring or holding an interest in the Company, and (ii) any entity if the purchase price of its interest in the Company represents at least seventy percent (70%) of its capital.
