Application to cancel the registration of a domain name (delete domain. 2.1 Where a holder applies to the Registrar in writing to permanently delete a domain name held by him, and the domain name is attributed to the Registrar, the Registrar shall check that it has positively identified the holder, that he is indeed the registered holder of the relevant domain name, that he may order its deletion as aforesaid and that he indeed wishes to delete the domain. Thereafter, the Registrar shall submit a delete application, in accordance with the protocol.
