Application Review. The Bisbee Airport Advisory Commission will review the completed application documents, at a formal meeting, after the completed application and all required submittals are accepted by the Airport Manager. If the Airport Advisory Commission approves the proposed lease, it shall forward its recommendation for approval to the Mayor and Council for further action. If the Airport Advisory Commission recommends approval subject to certain conditions, or certain amendments, the Commission shall advise the Applicant of these conditions or amendments. If the Applicant agrees to accept these conditions and amendments, they shall be included in the proposed lease and submitted to the Mayor and Council with a recommendation for approval. If the Commission does not recommend approval, the Applicant may withdraw the Application, or may request that it be submitted for consideration by the Mayor and Council with a “Do Not Approve” recommendation from the Commission. The proposed lease agreement will be submitted to the Mayor and Council for final consideration, with the recommendation from the Commission.
