Common use of Annual Vacation Leave Sell Back Clause in Contracts

Annual Vacation Leave Sell Back. Once per year, an employee will have the option to sell to the City up to one hundred sixty (160) hours of accumulated vacation time. The employee shall notify the Department on a form provided by the Auditor that he or she is exercising this option no later than March 1 of any calendar year. The City will pay the employee for the purchased vacation hours by March 31 of the same calendar year.
