Analog Trunk Port. DS0 analog trunk Ports can be configured as DID, DOD, and two-way. 1.3.3.1 Analog trunk Ports provide a 2-Way Analog Trunk with DID, E&M Signaling and 2-Wire or 4-Wire connections. This Trunk Side connection inherently includes hunting within the trunk group. 1.3.3.2 All trunks are designed as 4-Wire leaving the Central Office. For 2-Wire service, the trunks are converted at the End User Customer’s location.

Qwest will use Type I and II E&M signaling to provide these trunks to the PBX. Type II E&M signaling from Qwest to the PBX will be handled as a Special Assembly request Via ICB.
