Alignment and Grade. The sewers and storm water lines shall be laid to alignment and gradient shown on the drawings but subject to such modifications as shall be ordered by the Engineer from time to time to meet the requirements of the works. No deviations from the lines, depths of cutting or gradients of sewers shown on the plans and sections shall be permitted except at the express direction in writing of the Engineer.
