AGREEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. A. Teacher Agreement B. Attendance and Hours 1. Teachers' hours on student attendance days are as follows: Grades K-5: Teachers' attendance requirements will be seven hours and ten minutes. This will include 20 minutes before and 15 minutes after student attendance hours. 2. On institute days the district will follow the high school time requirements. 3. Part-time teacher hours will reflect the proportional attendance related to their fractional employment. If institute day attendance is required beyond guidelines, part-time teachers will be reimbursed at the district in-service salary by submitting an hourly time sheet. 4. Teachers will be in their classrooms prior to the arrival of students and in adequate time to prepare for the school day. Meetings should not last beyond the starting times of school. 5. Teachers who are required to perform supervisory duties before or after school shall be reimbursed at current supervisory pay rates. 6. Principals in each building will set adequate time schedules to meet needs of students and teachers. 7. When meetings are scheduled, teachers are to stay until the meeting is ended. They are to be a reasonable length of time in duration. An hour is suggested as reasonable. When there are scheduled JTO meetings or teacher meetings, these meetings shall take precedence over any impromptu meetings. If there's a required evening function or meeting, there should not be an afternoon meeting. There shall be no more than 2 faculty meetings per month. 8. The Board and the JTO agree to meet and develop an agreement if a district-wide student “late arrival/early release” becomes a possibility.

AGREEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. The Parties endeavor to: ● Enhance mutual understanding of respective agency roles and responsibilities across cooperative activities. ● Cooperate in areas of mutual interest by: o sharing data, information, and findings; o supporting interagency training efforts, educational programs, and exhibits; and o coordinating press releases or other statements intended for the public. ● Develop individual annexes for specific programs, projects, or activities, consistent with the purpose of this MOU, when written agreements may be mutually beneficial. ● Regularly provide updates on cooperative activities conducted pursuant to this MOU and annexes.
