Common use of Agreement Term and Renewal Clause in Contracts

Agreement Term and Renewal. 3.1 Subject to Clause 3.3, this Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and unless terminated earlier in accordance with its terms, shall continue until the Expiry Date ("Initial Term"). The Term of this Agreement shall automatically be extended for 1 year (“Renewal Term”) at the end of the Initial Term and at the end of each Renewal Term unless the Company has provided at least 3 months’ prior written notice of its intention to terminate this Agreement, such notice to expire no later than the expiry of the Initial Term or the Renewal Term, as appropriate.
