AGENCY SHOP/DUES CHECKOFF. All employees in the bargaining unit who are subject to this Agreement shall, as a condition of employment, pay to the Association an amount of money equal to that uniformly paid by employees in the bargaining unit who are members of the Association, which shall be limited to the amount of money equal to the Association's regular dues, initiation fees and uniform assessment. For present employees, such payments shall commence thirty-one (31) days following the effective date of this Agreement. For employees hired after the date of this Agreement, payments shall start the 31st day following the completion of the probationary period provided in this Agreement.
