Common use of Affiliate or Affiliates Clause in Contracts

Affiliate or Affiliates. “Affiliate” or “Affiliates” shall mean, with respect to any Party, any Person that controls or is controlled by or is under common control with such Party, where “control” means the possession or the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of a Person, whether through the ownership of a majority of the outstanding voting securities or otherwise.
