Common use of Advertisements and Signs Clause in Contracts

Advertisements and Signs. Lessee, at Lessee’s cost, is entitled to its pro rata share of the signage allocated to the Building, including any Building, pylon and monument signage provided it does not interfere with the signage of the San Xxxx Biocenter. Lessee shall not place or permit to be placed, in, upon or about the Premises any unusual or extraordinary signs, or any signs not approved by the city, local, state, federal or other applicable governing authority. Lessee shall not place, or permit to be placed upon the Premises and exterior of building, any signs, advertisements or notices without the written consent of the Lessor, and such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. A sign so placed on the Premises shall be so placed upon the understanding and agreement that Lessee will remove same at the end of the Lease Term or earlier termination of this Lease and repair any damage or injury to the Premises caused thereby, and if not so removed by Lessee, then Lessor may have the same removed at Lessee’s expense. Notwithstanding the above, Lessee shall have the right to place signs on the exterior of the buildings without Lessor’s consent provided such signs comply with all laws.
