Additional weekends. For part-time regular nurses, on any 7 consecutive weekend which is not a regularly scheduled weekend for the nurse, 8 provided that a nurse shall not be eligible for premium pay under this provision more 9 frequently than every other weekend. For full-time regular nurses, (1) on any 10 weekend exceeding two weekends worked in any eight-week period consisting of 11 two full cycles, and (2) on any consecutive weekend which is not a regularly 12 scheduled weekend for the nurse, provided that a nurse shall not be eligible for 13 premium pay under this provision more frequently than every other weekend. A nurse 14 shall not be regularly scheduled to work consecutive weekends. 15 a. Exempt from this provision are those nurses who have 16 agreed in writing to work schedules calling for additional weekend work, 17 and those nurses who express a desire in writing to work additional 18 weekends when work is available. Nurses who have agreed in writing to 19 work consecutive weekends may withdraw such authorization in writing 20 with two cycles notice. This request will not be unreasonably denied by the 21 manager. 23 b. A weekend is defined as Saturday and/or Sunday.
