Common use of Additional Rent and Interest Clause in Contracts

Additional Rent and Interest. Any monetary obligations of Lessee to Lessor under the terms of this lease shall be deemed to be rent. Any amount due to Lessor under any of the provisions of this lease shall bear interest from the date due at fifteen (15%) percent per annum, provided, however, that interest shall not be payable on late charges nor any amounts upon which late charges are paid. Payment of such interest shall not cure or excuse any default by Lessee.
