Common use of Active Service Clause in Contracts

Active Service. Any employee who enters into active service in the Armed Forces of the United States while in the employ of the Authority shall be granted a leave of absence without pay for the period of military service. The Authority will permit each employee who enters into the active service of the United States military forces to exhaust credited vacation and personal leave benefits prior to such entry.
