Active Pay Clause Samples
The Active Pay clause defines the obligation of a party to make payments only for services or goods that are actively being provided or delivered. In practice, this means that payments are contingent upon the ongoing performance or availability of the contracted services, and if the service is interrupted or terminated, payment obligations cease for the period of inactivity. This clause ensures that the paying party is not responsible for costs during periods when they do not receive the benefit of the contract, thereby allocating risk and promoting fairness in the payment structure.
Active Pay. Status For purposes of accumulating sick leave hours, “active pay status” is defined as hours actually worked and any paid time off hours (vacation, sick leave, bereavement leave and holidays). It shall not include non-paid time off.
Active Pay. Status Vacation leave is earned during the time the nurse is on active pay status; it is not earned while on unpaid leave of absence or unpaid military leave.
