The Accident/Injury Reporting clause requires parties to promptly notify relevant stakeholders about any accidents or injuries that occur in connection with the contract or worksite. Typically, this involves providing written notice within a specified timeframe and may require detailed information about the incident, such as the nature of the injury, those involved, and any immediate actions taken. The core function of this clause is to ensure timely communication and documentation of incidents, which helps manage liability, facilitates compliance with legal or insurance requirements, and supports effective response and investigation.
ACCIDENT/INJURY REPORTING. The employee is required to report all accidents/injuries which occur arising out of/or in the course of employment in accordance with the employer’s accident and injury reporting and investigation policy.
ACCIDENT/INJURY REPORTING. Immediately upon the occurrence of a job related injury, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Office at ▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇. Any technical advice and assistance necessary in accident investigating and reporting may be requested from the Installation Safety Officer through the Contracting Officer. If any claims are made by a third party against the Contractor as a result of a an accident which occurs in connection with the Contractor’s performance, the Contractor shall submit to the Contract Officer a full report, in writing, within 48 hours of the initiation of the claim.
ACCIDENT/INJURY REPORTING. A. Subcontractor shall coordinate with the Contractor to ensure compliance with any applicable reporting requirements to regulatory agencies. Further, Subcontractors shall report all workplace accidents, injuries, or illnesses, regardless of severity, to the Company project manager/contact person.
1. Fatalities or incidents involving significant, severe, or life-threatening injuries or illnesses, including loss of part of a limb or loss of use of a limb, injuries to two or more workers preventing them from performing their work for one working day and material damage of at least $150,000 must be reported immediately.
2. Minor injuries, illnesses, or property damage events must be reported the same day.
3. Dangerous occurrences, regardless of whether an injury occurred, must be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
