ACC and Sick Leave. 12.11.1 Work-related Accidents Where an employee is incapacitated as a result of a work accident, and that employee is on earnings related compensation, then the employer agrees to supplement the employee’s compensation by 20% of base salary during the period of incapacitation. This payment shall be taken as a charge against ▇▇▇▇ Leave up to the extent of the employee’s paid sick leave entitlement. The employer may agree to reimburse employees for treatment and other expenses or for financial disadvantage incurred as a result of a work-related accident. This agreement will be on a case-by-case basis.
