Common use of Abandoned Property Clause in Contracts

Abandoned Property. Personal property left behind by Resident following check-out and/or Lease termination is considered abandoned. Resident shall be charged for any costs incurred by University moving or removing abandoned property from the Leased Premises. Abandoned materials will be subject to University disposal procedures. Unlicensed or inoperable vehicles left in parking lots, or adjacent parking, at any time will be towed. All costs associated with packing, disposal and/or towing will be charged to the Resident via their university bill.
