Training. AMEs shall be qualified and licensed in the practice of medicine and shall have received training in aviation medicine acceptable to the Authority. They should acquire practical knowledge and experience of the conditions in which the holders of licences and ratings carry out their duties. (1) Grunnkurs i flymedisin (se AMC FCL 3.090) (i) Grunnkurs for leger som har ansvar for medisinsk seleksjon og undersøkelser av flygende personell klasse 2, skal bestå av minimum 60 timers undervisning, som omfatter medisinsk praksis og undersøkelsesteknikk. (1) Basic training in Aviation Medicine (see AMC FCL 3.090) (i) Basic training for physicians responsible for the medical selection and surveillance of Class 2 flying personnel shall consist of a minimum of 60-hours of lectures including practical work (examination techniques). The basic training in Aviation Medicine shall be acceptable to the Authority. (ii) En eksamen skal avslutte kurset. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ blir utstedt til kandidater som har bestått. (ii) A final examination shall conclude the basic training course. A certificate will be awarded to the successful candidate. (iii) Et kursbevis om bestått grunnkurs gir ingen lovmessig rett til å bli oppnevnt som flylege av flymedisinsk seksjon for klasse 2 undersøkelser.
