VP Academic definition

VP Academic means the Vice President – Academic of the Association.

  • It is understood that such leaves of absence shall be mutually agreed upon by the VP Academic and the Association.

  • Employees requesting compassionate leave shall notify either the Head, the ▇▇▇▇, or the VP (Academic), stating the reasons they are requesting the leave, and the length of time of the anticipated leave.

  • The VP Academic shall authorize the committees for which Sessional Academic Staff Members will be recruited.

  • Eligibility shall apply unless a member has been informed in writing by the VP Academic that their performance has been determined to be unsatisfactory either through Article 26 – Progressive Discipline or following the training and mentorship program process outlined in Article 20 – Teaching Assessments.

  • The Committee will review all applications and the Chair will meet with the VP Academic, not later than May 15 to make recommendations.

  • All applications for funding will be ranked by the Committee for consideration by the VP Academic.

  • Collaborative lawyer means a lawyer who represents a party in a collaborative law process.

  • Academic year means the period of twelve months beginning on 1st January, 1st April, 1st July or 1st September according to whether the course in question begins in the winter, the spring, the summer or the autumn respectively but if students are required to begin attending the course during August or September and to continue attending through the autumn, the academic year of the course is to be considered to begin in the autumn rather than the summer;

  • Medical cannabis card means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
