UKRPI definition

UKRPI has the meaning given to the term “GBP – Non-revised Retail Price Index (UKRPI)” in Annex A to the 2008 ISDA Inflation Derivatives Definitions. “US” means the United States of America. “VAT” means: (a) any tax charged in accordance with the UK Value Added Tax ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, as may be amended or substituted from time to time; (b) any tax imposed in compliance with the Council Directive of 28 November 2006 on the common system of value added tax (EC Directive 2006/112); and (c) any other tax of a similar nature, whether imposed in a member state of the European Union in substitution for, or levied in addition to, such tax referred to in paragraph (b) above, or imposed elsewhere.
