The proposed changes will also delete redundant and/or relocate existing independent technical review and, Nuclear Review Board review and audit requirements from TS that are and/or will be contained in the LGS UFSAR [Updated Final Safety Analysis Report].
This is consistent with NRC staff’s Operability Determination Process guidance in Inspection Manual Part 9900 for addressing degraded and nonconforming conditions because these valves perform specified functions described in the UFSAR or other elements of the current license basis.
For a LOOP with the CAC unavailable, the SG PORVs would be unavailable to mitigate the SGTR event described in the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR).
