The gaining registrar must certify the BTAPPA would not otherwise qualify under ICANN’s Transfer Policy.
Registrar may assume sponsorship of a Registered Name Holder's existing domain name registration from another registrar by following the Transfer Policy.

Immediately upon any expiration or termination of this Agreement, Registrar shall (i) transfer its sponsorship of Registered Name registrations to another licensed registrar(s) of the Registry, in compliance with Part B of the Transfer Policy, or any other procedures established or approved by the U.S. Department of Commerce or ICANN, as appropriate, and (ii) either return to VNDS or certify to VNDS the destruction of all data, software and documentation it has received under this Agreement.

The Board shall not approve, and the Company shall not recognize for any purpose, any purported Transfer of Units unless and until the Transfer Restrictions, consisting of the provisions of this Section and the Unit Transfer Policy, have been satisfied or the Board has by resolution specifically waived any unsatisfied provision, condition or restriction.
For a bulk transfer approved by ICANN under Part B of the Transfer Policy, Registrar shall pay PIR US $0 (for transfer of 50,000 names or fewer) or US $50,000 (for transfers of more than 50,000 names).
