Transect Zone definition

Transect Zone or “T-Zone” means one of several sub-zones within an area regulated by the Traditional Neighborhood Development. Transect Zones are administratively similar to the land use zones in conventional codes, except that in addition to the usual building use, Density, height, and Setback requirements, other elements of the intended habitat are integrated, including those of the private Lot and building and Public Frontage.
Transect Zone means a distinct environment within the Kalaeloa CDD. The Kalaeloa CDD has [six] five transect zones that reflect the physical form and character of an area, according to the density and intensity of its land use and urbanism;
Transect Zone. (T-Zone) means a geographically specific zoning classification established to regulate develop- ment patterns in accordance with the transect system. Transect Zones are administratively similar to the land-use zones in conventional zoning ordinances, except that in addition to the usual building use, density, height, and setback requirements, other elements of the intended habitat are integrated, including those of the private lot and building and the enfronting public streetscape. The elements are determined by their location on the Transect scale. The basic T-Zones are: T1 Natural, T2 Rural, T3 Sub-Urban, T4 General Urban, T5 Urban Center, and T6 Urban Core (see Table A).

  • The Developer agrees that the City DRB (or successor board) will have jurisdiction over the review and approval of development plans involving non-residential uses for the T5 Transect Zone (Urban Center).

  • The Owner shall limit development on the Property in accordance with the T6-48B-O Transect Zone regulations of Miami 21 Code including the density limitations therein.

  • The City has designated certain Property within the District as T3R Sub-Urban Transect Zone with a NCD-3 Coconut Grove Neighborhood Conservation District Overlay on the official zoning Atlas of the City, pursuant to the applicable procedures in Miami 21.

Related to Transect Zone

  • Buffer Zone means an area designated to be left along roads or other features in which there will be no cutting.

  • Use Zone means the area beneath and surrounding a play structure or piece of equipment that is designated for unrestricted movement around the equipment, and onto which a child falling from or exiting the equipment could be expected to land.

  • Safety zone means the area officially set apart within a roadway for the exclusive use of
