Tier 3 instruments definition

Tier 3 instruments means basic and ancillary own-fund items that meet the conditions laid down in Article 94(3) of Directive 2009/38/EC;

Related to Tier 3 instruments

  • Tier 1 Instruments means any and all (i) securities or other obligations (other than Tier 1 Shares) issued by UBS Group AG or (ii) shares, securities, participation securities or other obligations (other than Tier 1 Shares) issued by a subsidiary of UBS Group AG and having the benefit of a guarantee, credit support agreement or similar undertaking of UBS Group AG, each of which shares, securities, participation securities or other obligations described in clauses (i) and

  • Tier 2 Instruments means any (directly or indirectly issued) capital instruments of the Issuer that qualify as Tier 2 instruments pursuant to Article 63 CRR, including any capital (or other) instruments that qualify as Tier 2 items pursuant to transitional provisions under the CRR.]

  • Trade Instruments means any performance bonds, advance payment bonds or documentary letters of credit issued in respect of the obligations of any member of the Group arising in the ordinary course of trading of that member of the Group.

  • Pledge Instruments With respect to each Cooperative Loan, the Stock Power, the Assignment of Proprietary Lease and the Security Agreement.

  • Additional Tier 1 Instrument means any contractually subordinated obligation (créditos subordinados) of Banco Santander according to Article 92.2º of the Spanish Insolvency Law, ranking as an additional tier 1 instrument (instrumentos de capital adicional de nivel 1) under Additional Provision 14.3º(c) of Law 11/2015.
