Temporary storage unit definition

Temporary storage unit or "unit" shall mean any transportable container, storage unit, shed-like container or other portable structure that can or is used for the storage of household goods or other personal property located outside a residence and other than an accessory building. Temporary storage units shall not include dumpsters or other similar storage containers used for the disposal of trash or refuse as may be permitted during construction or renovation projects within the city. Temporary storage unit means a transportable unit, container or structure designed for temporary storage of personal property, household goods, and other materials for use on a temporary basis. Such unit shall not be considered an accessory structure.
