Tank ship definition

Tank ship means a self-propelled vessel that is constructed or adapted for the carriage of oil in bulk or in commercial quantities as cargo.
Tank ship means a vessel specially fitted with tanks and used for the conveyance of oils or inflammable liquids.

  • Tank vessel means a ship that is constructed or adapted to carry, or that carries, oil in bulk as cargo or cargo residue, and that:

  • Vessel means every description of watercraft, other than a seaplane on the water, used or capable of being used as a means of transportation on water.

  • passenger ship means a ship which carries more than 12 passengers;

  • Relevant Ship means the Ships and any other vessel from time to time (whether before or after the date of this Agreement) owned, managed or crewed by, or chartered to, any Relevant Party;
