Swimming Event definition

Swimming Event means an Individual Swimming Event or a Relay Event in the Games in which an Athlete competes either alone or together with other Athletes.Schedule 1
Swimming Event means an Individual Swimming Event and/or a Relay Event at the Games but does not include a Marathon Swimming Event at the Games.

Examples of Swimming Event in a sentence

  • The criteria may be relaxed by the DDA if the applicant has been a National Champion in any Swimming Event for two years or more or has represented India at the international level on three or more occasions.

  • In the event there is still a tie, the Selection Panel will rank Athletes by their second-best Individual Swimming Event time against the 2021 FINA World Rankings (published as at 14th August 2021).

  • The Selection Panel may nominate Reserve Athletes to the NZOC for any Swimming Event.

  • Qualification for a place in any Swimming Event by an Athlete or group of Athletes does not guarantee that Athlete or group of Athletes will be nominated or selected to compete in any Swimming Event at the Games.

  • Should more than two Athletes achieve a time as per above in the same Individual Swimming Event at a Nomination Event, the Athletes with the two fastest time at the Nomination Events shall be nominated.

  • Qualification for a place in any Marathon Swimming Event by an Athlete does not guarantee that Athlete will be nominated or selected to compete in the Marathon Swimming Event at the Games.

  • Sporting event means any of the following athletic activities that is organized, operated, managed, or sponsored by the School:

  • Financing Event means the earlier of (i) a public offering by the Company of its Common Stock with aggregate gross proceeds of at least $5 million; or (ii) the listing of the Company’s Common Stock on a National Securities Exchange, as such term is defined under the Exchange Act.

  • Liquidating Event has the meaning set forth in Section 13.1 hereof.

  • Parent Intervening Event means any event, change, occurrence or development that is unknown and not reasonably foreseeable to the Parent Board as of the date of this Agreement, or if known or reasonably foreseeable to the Parent Board as of the date of this Agreement, the material consequences of which were not known or reasonably foreseeable to the Parent Board as of the date of this Agreement; provided, that the receipt, existence or terms of a Parent Alternative Proposal shall not be deemed to be a Parent Intervening Event hereunder.

  • Rating Event means the rating on the Notes is lowered by each of the Rating Agencies and the Notes are rated below an Investment Grade Rating by each of the Rating Agencies on any day within the 60-day period (which 60-day period will be extended so long as the rating of the Notes is under publicly announced consideration for a possible downgrade by any of the Rating Agencies) after the earlier of (a) the occurrence of a Change of Control and (b) public notice of the occurrence of a Change of Control or the Company’s intention to effect a Change of Control; provided that a Rating Event will not be deemed to have occurred in respect of a particular Change of Control (and thus will not be deemed a Rating Event for purposes of the definition of Change of Control Triggering Event) if each Rating Agency making the reduction in rating does not publicly announce or confirm or inform the Trustee in writing at the request of the Company that the reduction was the result, in whole or in part, of any event or circumstance comprised of or arising as a result of, or in respect of, the Change of Control (whether or not the applicable Change of Control has occurred at the time of the Rating Event).

  • Terminating Event means any of the following events:

  • REO Disposition Period As defined in Section 3.14. REO Proceeds: Proceeds, net of any related expenses of the Servicer, received in respect of any REO Property (including, without limitation, proceeds from the rental of the related Mortgaged Property) which are received prior to the final liquidation of such Mortgaged Property.

  • Deemed Liquidation Event means: (i) a merger or consolidation in which the Corporation is a constituent party or a subsidiary of the Corporation is a constituent party and the Corporation issues shares of its capital stock pursuant to such merger or consolidation, except any such merger or consolidation involving the Corporation or a subsidiary in which the shares of capital stock of the Corporation outstanding immediately prior to such merger or consolidation continue to represent, or are converted into or exchanged for shares of capital stock that represent, immediately following such merger or consolidation, at least a majority, by voting power, of the capital stock of the surviving or resulting corporation or if the surviving or resulting corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of another corporation immediately following such merger or consolidation, the parent corporation of such surviving or resulting corporation; or (ii) the sale, lease, transfer, exclusive license or other disposition, in a single transaction or series of related transactions, by the Corporation or any subsidiary of the Corporation of all or substantially all the assets of the Corporation and its subsidiaries taken as a whole, or the sale or disposition (whether by merger or otherwise) of one or more subsidiaries of the Corporation if substantially all of the assets of the Corporation and its subsidiaries taken as a whole are held by such subsidiary or subsidiaries, except where such sale, lease, transfer, exclusive license or other disposition is to a wholly owned subsidiary of the Corporation.

  • Book-Up Event means an event that triggers a positive adjustment to the Capital Accounts of the Partners pursuant to Section 5.5(d).

  • Sharing Event means (i) the occurrence of any Event of Default with respect to any Borrower pursuant to Section 12.05, (ii) the declaration of the Total Revolving Loan Commitment termination, or the acceleration of the maturity of any Revolving Loans, in each case pursuant to the last paragraph of Section 12 or (iii) the failure of any Borrower to pay any principal of, Face Amount of, or interest on, Revolving Loans or any Letter of Credit Obligations on the Maturity Date.

  • Triggering Event means any Section 11(a)(ii) Event or any Section 13 Event.

  • Debt Repayment Triggering Event means any event or condition which gives, or with the giving of notice or lapse of time would give, the holder of any note, debenture or other evidence of indebtedness (or any person acting on such holder’s behalf) the right to require the repurchase, redemption or repayment of all or a portion of such indebtedness by the Company or any of its subsidiaries.

  • Change of Control Triggering Event means the occurrence of both a Change of Control and a Rating Event.

  • ii) Event means any event described in Section 11(a)(ii) hereof.
