SUB-EARNINGS definition

SUB-EARNINGS means all moneys whatsoever from time to time due or payable to the Hirer during the Hire Period arising out of the use or operation of the Ship including (but without limiting the generality of the foregoing) all freight, charterhire and passage moneys, income arising under pooling arrangements, compensation payable to the Hirer in the event of requisition of the Ship for hire, remuneration for salvage and towage services, demurrage and detention moneys, and damages for breach (or payments for variation or termination) of any charterparty or other contract for the employment of the Ship from time to time entered into by the Hirer;

  • Gross earnings means all monies earned by the Employee under the terms of this Collective Agreement.

  • Annual Earnings means your gross annual income from your Employer, not including shift differential, in effect just prior to the date of loss. It includes your total income before taxes. It is prior to any deductions made for pre-tax contributions to a qualified deferred compensation plan, Section 125 plan or flexible spending account. It does not include income received from commissions, bonuses, overtime pay or any other extra compensation or income received from sources other than your Employer.

  • Monthly Earnings means your gross monthly income from your Employer, not including shift differential, in effect just prior to your date of disability. It includes your total income before taxes. It is prior to any deductions made for pre-tax contributions to a qualified deferred compensation plan, Section 125 plan or flexible spending account. It does not include income received from commissions, bonuses, overtime pay or any other extra compensation or income received from sources other than your Employer.

  • Weekly Earnings means, in the case of a day or shift worker, 40 hours x his regular rate;

  • net earnings means such earnings as are calculated in accordance with paragraph 42 or 52, as the case may be;
