Staff Class definition

Staff Class means those classes of staff as classified by the relevant staff grouping described in paragraph 8;
Staff Class means any of the GST CSD Staff Class, the GST Clinicians
Staff Class means those classes of the staff constituency being five in number comprising staff whose terms of engagement by the Trust is made on the basis of the following classification:

Examples of Staff Class in a sentence

  • Such individuals are not eligible for Membership of any other Staff Class.

  • The minimum number of Members in each Staff Class is specified in Annex 2.

  • The Staff Constituency shall be divided into four descriptions of individuals who are eligible for membership of the Staff Constituency, each description of individuals being specified within Annex 2 and being referred to as a Staff Class within the Staff Constituency.

  • Individuals who are eligible to be a member of the Staff Constituency may not become or continue as a Member of more than one Staff Class, and individuals who are eligible to join more than one Staff Class shall be allocated to the Staff Class for which they are primarily employed or engaged.

  • Members of each Staff Class may elect the number of Governors for that Staff Class as set out in Annex 2.

  • Any individual who is both a Volunteer and employed by the Trust shall be assigned to the Staff Class for which they are primarily employed or engaged.

  • Staff constituency as defined in 7.3.1, with minimum numbers as described in 7.3.7The Nursing and Midwifery Staff Class; The Medical Practitioners’ Staff Class; The Other Clinical Staff Class; and, The Non-Clinical Staff Class.

  • The minimum number of Members in each Staff Class of the Staff Constituency is specified in Annex 2.

  • The members of the Medical Practitioners’ Staff Class are individuals who are members of the staff constituency who are fully registered persons within the meaning of the Medical Act 1983 or the Dental Act 1984.

  • The minimum number of members in each class of the staff constituency is: 150 will be registered in the Nursing and Midwifery Staff Class; 15 in the Medical Practitioners’ Staff Class; 50 in the Other Clinical Staff Class; and 100 in the Non-Clinical Staff Class.
