SPECIALIZED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT definition

SPECIALIZED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. Includes devices, controls, or other appliances which are of direct medical or remedial benefit to the individual and items necessary for life support, ancillary supplies, and equipment necessary to the proper functioning of such items, and durable and non-durable medical equipment.
SPECIALIZED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT means the following:
SPECIALIZED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. Any non-affixed equipment (i) which is owned or leased by Lessee, (ii) the cost of which is required to be capitalized in accordance with GAAP and (iii) which is used by Lessee for lifting or transferring, or providing therapeutic interventions or other specialized medical services to, residents/patients.
