Source Code Documentation definition

Source Code Documentation means the manuals and other documentation that are reasonably necessary to use the Source Code licensed herein, including those items listed and described in the relevant Transition Service Schedule hereto.
Source Code Documentation mean software written in programming languages, such as C and Fortran, including all comments and procedural code, such as job control language statements, in a form intelligible to trained programmers and capable of being translated into object or machine readable code for operation on computer equipment through assembly or compiling, and accompanied by documentation, including flow charts, schematics, statements of principles of operations, architectural standards, and commentary, explanations and instructions for compiling, describing the data flows, data structures, and control logic of the software in sufficient detail to enable a trained programmer through study of such documentation to maintain and/or modify the software without undue experimentation. Source Code and Source Code Documentation also include all modifications, additions, substitutions, updates, upgrades and corrections made to the foregoing items.
Source Code Documentation means the development level documentation for the Source Code as provided to CSA by Phoenix.

Examples of Source Code Documentation in a sentence

  • Source Code Documentation" means the manuals and other documentation that are reasonably necessary to use the Source Code licensed herein, including those items listed and described in the relevant Transition Service Schedule hereto.

  • Licensee agrees that any access to any PS Source Code and PS Source Code Documentation will not limit or restrict PalmSource’s right to modify or replace such PS Source Code and PS Source Code Documentation in future versions of the PS Licensed Products.

  • Except as permitted in this Agreement, Licensee shall not use, make, have made, distribute or disclose any copies of the PS Source Code or PS Source Code Documentation, in whole or in part, or the information contained therein without the prior written authorization of PalmSource.

  • The licenses granted under this Section 2.9 are specifically set forth herein, and no licenses are granted by Palm to Licensee by implication or estoppel to the Palm Source Code or Palm Source Code Documentation.

  • Licensee agrees that any access to any Palm Source Code and Palm Source Code Documentation will not limit or restrict Palm’s right to modify or replace such Palm Source Code and Palm Source Code Documentation in future versions of the Palm Software.

  • Licensee’s obligations under this Section 2.9 with respect to any Palm Source Code and Palm Source Code Documentation shall survive in perpetuity.

  • Licensee agrees that it will not remove, alter or otherwise obscure any proprietary rights notices appearing in the Palm Source Code or Palm Source Code Documentation.

  • Upon Licensee’s request, Palm may at Palm’s sole option, from time to time, provide Licensee certain portions of the Palm Source Code and Palm Source Code Documentation, subject to the provisions of this Section 2.9.


More Definitions of Source Code Documentation

Source Code Documentation means the materials which Licensor provides for use with the Source Code.
Source Code Documentation means in any physical or digital medium, (a) human-readable copy of the Source Code and related materials generated in preparing the Source Code, including programmer notes, flow charts, logic diagrams, and listings, (b) information and user manuals sufficient to enable a person skilled in the applicable art to operate, maintain, and support the Source Code for its intended purposes, and (c) all of Design-Builder’s training course materials, system specifications and technical manuals, and all other user instructions regarding the capabilities, operation, and use of the Source Code including, but not limited to, online help screens contained in the Project or Work, and for subsections (a) through (c), any revisions, supplements, or updates thereto. For the avoidance of doubt, Source Code Documentation includes software written in programming languages, including all comments and procedural code, such as job control language statements, in a form intelligible to trained programmers and capable of being translated into object or machine readable code for operation on computer equipment through assembly or compiling, and accompanied by documentation, including flow charts, schematics, statements of principles of operations, architectural standards, and commentary, explanations and instructions for compiling, describing the data flows, data structures, and control logic of the software in sufficient detail to enable a trained programmer through study of such documentation to maintain and/or modify the software without undue experimentation. Source Code Documentation includes all Change Orders and other documents relating to additions, substitutions, updates, upgrades and corrections made to the foregoing items.
Source Code Documentation means flow charts, programmer’s notes and other materials necessary to document properly the Source Code so as to enable a computer programmer to compile, operate, maintain, develop and modify the Software.
Source Code Documentation means: (a) available sub- ------------------------- programs, routines, program files, data files, file and data relationships, data definition specifications, data models, program and system logic, interfaces, algorithms, program architecture, design concepts, system designs, program structure, sequence and organization, screen displays and report layouts related to interacting with or a part of the Licensed Software, whether in human-readable or machine- readable form; and (b) available reference manuals, user and operating guides and manuals, design specifications, functional specifications, flow charts, internal use listings or manuals relating to error corrections, fixes and workarounds, file and program cross-reference information (whether in manual, guide or other format), whether in human-readable or machine-readable form.
Source Code Documentation means all Licensed Product documentation that is fixed in any tangible medium of expression that ▇▇▇▇▇ uses to install and maintain the Source Code for the Licensed Products in the Field on a computer and transform such Source Code into an executable form for operation in accordance with its specification, limited, however, to such materials that are held and used by ▇▇▇▇▇ in the ordinary course of business, it being understood that ▇▇▇▇▇ is not subject to any obligation to develop any additional Source Code Documentation.

Related to Source Code Documentation

  • Software Documentation means software information, being technical information used, or useful in, or relating to the design, development, use or maintenance of any version of a software programme.

  • Technical Documentation means designs, reports, photographs, drawings, plans, specifications, computer software, surveys, calculations and other data, information and material collected, computed, drawn or produced, including computer print-outs.

  • Computer software documentation means owner's manuals, user's manuals, installation instructions, operating instructions, and other similar items, regardless of storage medium, that explain the capabilities of the computer software or provide instructions for using the software.
