Soil mapping unit definition

Soil mapping unit means an area outlined on a map in a County Soil Survey Report and marked with a letter symbol designating a soil phase, a complex of two or more soil phases, or some other descriptive term where no soil type has been identified.
Soil mapping unit means soil type, slope and erosion factor boundaries as shown on the operational soil survey maps prepared by the U.S. National Resource Conservation Service.

  • Coating unit means a series of one or more coating applicators and any associated drying area and/or oven wherein a coating is applied dried and/or cured.
