Shell height data will be entered into a database using a digital caliper system.
Shell height frequency histograms and other summary statistics, including mean size, observed mortality (% live), and total abundance, will be calculated and used in analyses similar to those used in the original study.
Freeboard height means for vapor degreasers the distance from the top of the vapor zone to the top of the degreaser tank. For cold cleaners, freeboard height means the distance from liquid solvent level in the degreaser tank to the top of the tank.
