Serhildan in Kurdish means ‘uprising’, ‘rebellion’ (akin to Arabic Palestinian term of “Intifada”). 31 Açik (2013: 116) refers the journals Roza (the first to be published), Yaşamda, Özgür Kadin (YÖK) and Jûjin published by Kurdish women in Turkey in the 1990s for about a decade. Al-Ali and Tas
