Second Residence definition

Second Residence means a residence where a Member resides other than the Member’s usual place of residence. That residence must be owned by the Member and/or the Member’s Spouse, or the Member and/or the Member’s Spouse must have a rental agreement for the second residence for a minimum period of six months or more.
Second Residence means a house or flat wholly maintained by the Premier, Deputy Premier, a Minister of the Crown, an office-holder or a member for a period not less than the sum of the number of sitting days of his or her House of Parliament in a calendar year, and in respect of which an allowance is paid under regulation 6.
Second Residence means a dwelling in the metropolitan area wholly maintained by a member for a period not less than the aggregate number of sitting days of his or her House of Parliament in a calendar year;

Examples of Second Residence in a sentence

  • In the event the Executive does not move his primary residence to the Council Bluffs area within six months of the Term of this Agreement commencing, the Executive will be required to lease or purchase a Second Residence (e.g., apartment, condominium, home) within reasonable daily commuting distance (i.e., within fifty (50) miles) of the Company’s offices.

  • All costs related to (i) the Second Residence, and (ii) traveling to/from the Executive’s current primary residence will be the sole responsibility of the Executive.
