Second cook definition

Second cook means a cook who is in charge of the kitchen staff when the chef or first cook is not on duty.

DIVISION D (a) A 'casual employee' means any person specifically engaged to work on an irregular basis, as and when required by mutual consent between employer and employee, but does not include any person employed on a part-time or full-time basis. (b) A 'part-time employee' is one engaged to regularly work for less hours per day or week than those prescribed for full-time employees.
Second cook. Means a person employed as such in a facility who assists the Chef in the discharge of their duties and whenever necessary relieves the Chef during any absence.
