Satisfactory Educational Progress. We understand that a pupil’s satisfactory educational progress will be evaluated using all of the following measures:
Satisfactory Educational Progress means educational progress across academic and/or developmental areas appropriate to the child's age and abilities. The student need not complete all individualized educational program or privately developed plan goals for the team to determine that the student is making satisfactory educational progress.
Satisfactory Educational Progress. We understand that a pupil’s satisfactory educational progress will be evaluated using all of the following measures: • A pupil’s achievement and engagement in the program, as indicated by their performance on applicable pupil-level measures of pupil achievement and engagement pursuant to paragraphs (4) and (5) of subdivision (d) of Education Code Section 52060, and Local Control and Accountability Plan. • A pupil’s completion of assignments, assessments, or other indicators that evidence that the pupil is working on assignments. • A pupil’s learning required concepts, as determined by the supervising teacher. • A pupil’s progress toward successfully completing the course of study or individual course, as determined by the supervising teacher. • Academic progress will be communicated with a pupil’s parent or guardian at a minimum quarterly through a report card on the Infanate Campus portal. ASSIGNMENTS: Evaluation of assignments is based upon teacher assessment of weekly written work and projects, test scores, and oral presentations. The teachers assign ADA credit and the assignments information on a weekly basis. Maximum length of time allowed between the assignment and the date the assignment is due is five (5) school days unless a prior exception is made in accordance with district or charter school policy and after five (5) missed assignments, or if the pupil is not making satisfactory educational progress as determined by the general supervising teacher using the measures prescribed in accordance with paragraph (2) of subdivision (b) of Education Code Section 51747, an evaluation will be made to determine whether independent study is an appropriate strategy for this pupil. VOLUNTARY STATEMENT: We understand that independent study is an optional educational alternative that pupils voluntarily select, including pupils covered under California Education Code sections 48915 and 48917. All pupils who choose independent study must be offered the alternative of classroom instruction, and they must have the continuing option of returning to the classroom. QUALITY AND QUANTITY;

  • Qualifying Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than 10 hours per week on courses or work in that program.

  • Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.

  • Alternative education program means a school or separate class group designed to best serve students’ educational needs and interests and assist students in achieving the academic standards of the district and the state.

  • Cooperative education program means a written voluntary agreement between and among districts to provide certain educational programs for pupils in certain groups of districts. The written agreement shall be approved by all affected districts at least annually and shall specify the educational programs to be provided and the estimated number of pupils from each district who will participate in the educational programs.
