Sample medication definition

Sample medication means a prescription medication, dispensed by a licensed physician, dentist, podiatrist, physician’s assistant, or A.R.N.P. without charge, which does not contain all of the following information in the label affixed to the medication: the name of the dispensing practitioner, the patient’s name, the date the medication was dispensed, the name and strength of the drug, directions for use, and a clearly marked expiration date.
