Reuters Group definition

Reuters Group means the affiliated group of corporations as defined in Section 1504(a) of the Code, or similar group of entities as defined under corresponding provisions of the laws of other jurisdictions, of which Reuters is the common parent, and any corporation or other entity which is a member of such group for the relevant taxable period or portion thereof, but excluding any member of the Instinet Group.
Reuters Group means Reuters and its direct and indirect subsidiaries and any holding company and any subsidiaries of such holding company from time to time, together with such entities as are from time to time operating as authorized distributors of Reuters in territories due to the local law not permitting Reuters to operate through a subsidiary in those territories. For the purpose of this definition a company is a "subsidiary" of a "holding company" (including where appropriate Reuters) if that holding company owns at least fifty percent (50%) of the voting stock of that company or otherwise has the right to exercise Control over such company.
