Injunction has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1(d).
Governmental Order means any order, writ, judgment, injunction, decree, stipulation, determination or award entered by or with any Governmental Authority.
Decree means any judgment, decree, ruling, decision, opinion, injunction, assessment, attachment, undertaking, award, charge, writ, executive order, judicial order, administrative order or any other order of any Governmental Entity.
Intimidating, threatening, abusive, or harming conduct means, but is not limited to, conduct that does the following:
Governmental Entity means any nation or government, any state, province or other political subdivision thereof, any entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of or pertaining to government, including any court, arbitrator (public or private) or other body or administrative, regulatory or quasi-judicial authority, agency, department, board, commission or instrumentality of any federal, state, local or foreign jurisdiction.
Violator means probationer, parolee, or work releasee not having community status revoked but found to have violated conditions of supervision by the appropriate jurisdiction having statutory authority to revoke.
Legal Requirement means any treaty, convention, statute, law, regulation, ordinance, license, permit, governmental approval, injunction, judgment, order, consent decree or other requirement of any governmental authority, whether federal, state, or local.
Relief means any loss, relief, allowance, exemption, set-off, deduction, right to repayment or credit or other relief of a similar nature granted by or available in relation to Tax pursuant to any legislation or otherwise;
Mechanical restraint means any device or object used to limit a student’s movement.
Serious traffic violation means a conviction when operating a commercial motor vehicle of:
Temporary Occupation Permit means a Temporary Occupation Permit issued under the Building Control Act (Cap. 29);
Wildlife violation means any cited violation of a statute, law, regulation, ordinance, or administrative rule developed and enacted for the management of wildlife resources and the uses thereof.
Prone restraint means a restraint in which a student is held face down on the floor.
Governmental Body means any: (a) nation, state, commonwealth, province, territory, county, municipality, district or other jurisdiction of any nature; (b) federal, state, local, municipal, foreign or other government; or (c) governmental or quasi-governmental authority of any nature (including any governmental division, department, agency, commission, instrumentality, official, organization, unit, body or Entity and any court or other tribunal).
Restraint means the use of physical force or a mechanical device to significantly restrict the free movement of all or a portion of a student’s body.
Supine restraint means the restraint of a student in a face-up position on the student’s back on the floor or another surface and with physical pressure applied to the body of the student to keep the student in the supine position.
Serious violation means OCC has made a valid finding when assessing a serious complaint that alleges:
Chemical restraint means the use of medication to control a student’s violent physical behavior or restrict a student’s freedom of movement.
Violation means the failure of a structure or other development to be fully compliant with the community's floodplain management regulations. A structure or other development without the elevation certificate, other certifications, or other evidence of compliance required in Articles 4 and 5 is presumed to be in violation until such time as that documentation is provided.
Violation Ticket means a violation ticket as defined in the Provincial Offences Procedures Act (Alberta).
Remedy a Violation means to bring the structure or other development into compliance with state and community floodplain management regulations, or, if this is not possible, to reduce the impacts of its noncompliance. Ways that impacts may be reduced include protecting the structure or other affected development from flood damages, implementing the enforcement provisions of the ordinance or otherwise deterring future similar violations, or reducing federal financial exposure with regard to the structure or other development.
Governmental or Regulatory Authority means any court, tribunal, arbitrator, authority, agency, commission, official or other instrumentality of the United States, any foreign country or any domestic or foreign state, county, city or other political subdivision.
Writ means a writ of summons.
Transient occupancy means occupancy in transient lodging that has all of the following
Ex-situ conservation means the conservation of components of biological diversity outside their natural habitats.
Monopole means a structure composed of a single spire, pole, or tower used to support antennas or related equipment. A monopole also includes a monopine, monopalm, and similar monopoles camouflaged to resemble faux objects attached on a monopole.
