response unit definition

response unit means a group, whose members may include staff of the National Disaster Management Office, officers of the agencies and organizations that are members of clusters, and other suitably skilled and trained persons, formed under the direction of the National Emergency Operations Committee and managed by the National Disaster Management Office to undertake initial response functions;
response unit means a vehicle (ambulance, fire, or law enforcement unit) operated by a first responder or emergency ambulance service, which meets all applicable State and local laws and regulations.

  • Response Date is defined in Section 2.19.

  • Response activity means evaluation, interim response activity, remedial action, demolition, providing an alternative water supply, or the taking of other actions necessary to protect the public health, safety, or welfare, or the environment or the natural resources. Response activity also includes health assessments or health effect studies carried out under the supervision, or with the approval of, the department of community health and enforcement actions related to any response activity.
