Research Diagnostic(s) definition

Research Diagnostic(s). ("rDx"): shall mean test(s) performed on a commercial basis on a tissue or other biological sample, the results of which are provided to any party for any purpose, excluding use as a Clinical Diagnostic.

  • Research university means the same as that term is defined in Section

  • Research Use shall have the meaning given in Section 2.2.2 of this Agreement.

  • scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;

  • Research Data means documents in a digital form, other than scientific publications, which are collected or produced in the course of scientific research activities and are used as evidence in the research process, or are commonly accepted in the research community as necessary to validate research findings and results;

  • Bioassay means the determination of kinds, quantities or concentrations, and, in some cases, the locations of radioactive material in the human body, whether by direct measurement, in vivo counting, or by analysis and evaluation of materials excreted or removed from the human body. For purposes of these regulations, "radiobioassay" is an equivalent term.
