remunerated expert or ‘expert’ means a natural person, who participates in or contributes to a panel, working group, committee or another technical matter/meeting, by providing expertise, opinions and/or advice to EDCC and who is selected and remunerated by ECDC according to the provisions of the present Decision.

  • Remuneration means any money or its equivalent given or passed to any person for services rendered by him and includes perquisites as defined under the Income-tax Act, 1961;

  • Remuneration Report means the remuneration report which forms part of the Directors’ Report of the Company for the financial year ended 30 June 2020 and which is set out in the 2020 Annual Report.

  • Tax Advisor means a United States tax counsel or accountant of recognized national standing.

  • Independent Expert means a Person or entity with no material current or prior business or personal relationship with the Advisor or the Directors and who is engaged to a substantial extent in the business of rendering opinions regarding the value of assets of the type held by the Company.
