Examples of Regular Faculty in a sentence
Regular Faculty status applies to those persons whose major assignment is the teaching of courses as listed in the university catalog or the performance of professional librarian responsibilities.
Teaching is defined as the responsibility for the research, design, preparation, coordination, delivery, grading, evaluation, assessment and supervision of scheduled curriculum course content, and, for Regular Faculty Members, curriculum development.
All Regular Faculty Members who meet the qualifications may participate in the early retirement plan.
They may be Regular Faculty, defined as a “tenured or tenure track faculty member,” including Probationary Non-Tenured Faculty, defined as a “faculty member who is appointed to a tenure track position and who has not been granted tenure” (APSCUF CBA).
Regular Faculty Members will develop in consultation with their appropriate School Chair/Department Head or appropriate Supervisor a professional/course development plan that is mutually acceptable.
