Protection Activities definition

Protection Activities means taking all actions deemed necessary and desirable to protect the Licensed Patents, including, but not limited to, obtaining, filing for, securing, pursuing, prosecuting, and continuing or maintaining the Licensed Patents, but does not include litigation or inter-partes or adversarial activities.
Protection Activities means taking all actions deemed commercially necessary and desirable to protect the Licensed Patents, including, but not limited to, obtaining, filing for, securing, pursuing, prosecuting, continuing or maintaining, the Patents and patent application(s).
Protection Activities means preparation of, obtaining, filing for, securing, pursuing, prosecuting, and continuing or maintaining the patents and patent applications, including through participation in post-grant review, inter partes review, ex parte reexamination, or opposition proceedings.

  • The Licensee must notify UABRF in writing identifying in which foreign countries and jurisdictions, if any, the Licensee wishes to undertake Protection Activities with respect to any Licensed Patents.

  • The Licensee shall have [*****] days from its receipt to provide written notice to UABRF or its disclosing Affiliate as to (i) specific edits to remove Licensee’s Proprietary Information prior to publication or disclosure or (ii) the need to delay such publication or disclosure for a reasonable period of time to undertake Protection Activities.

  • If Company does not seek such lead for joint Project Intellectual Property, UCFRF may take the lead in directing the Protection Activities in the name of both Parties.
