Venture means any group of two or more persons associated in fact, whether or not a legal entity.
Company Joint Venture means any corporation or other entity (including partnership, limited liability company and other business association) that is not a Company Subsidiary and in which the Company or one or more Company Subsidiaries owns an equity interest (other than equity interests held for passive investment purposes which are less than 5% of any class of the outstanding voting securities or other equity of any such entity).
Manager-managed limited liability company means a limited liability company that is managed by
Member-managed limited liability company means a limited liability company that is not a manager-managed limited liability company.
Joint Venture Company means any Subsidiary of the Company or any other Person of which 50% or less than 50% of the outstanding Voting Stock or participation is held by the Company or its Subsidiaries, whose Equity Interest is held directly or indirectly by the Company and one or more third parties that are not Affiliates of the Company for the purpose of directly or indirectly bidding new projects, including such Subsidiaries or Persons of the Company whose activities are governed by a joint venture agreement with one or more third parties that are not Affiliates of the Company.
Partnership has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
Joint Venture (JV means an association with or without a legal personality distinct from that of its members, of more than one Consultant where one member has the authority to conduct all business for and on behalf of any and all the members of the JV, and where the members of the JV are jointly and severally liable to the Procuring Entity for the performance of the Contract.
Single member limited liability company means a limited liability company that has one direct member.
Permitted Joint Venture means, with respect to any specified Person, a joint venture in any other Person engaged in a Similar Business in respect of which the Issuer or a Restricted Subsidiary beneficially owns at least 35% of the shares of Equity Interests of such Person.
Series Company refers to the form of registered open-end investment company described in Section 18(f)(2) of the 1940 Act or in any successor statutory provision;
Blackwater means wastewater contaminated by human body waste, toilet paper and any other material intended to be deposited in a receptor designed to receive urine or feces.
Joint Venture Entity means any Joint Venture, any Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of a Joint Venture or any JV Subsidiary.
Venture capital fund means a private fund that meets the definition of a venture capital fund in SEC Rule 203(l)-1, 17 C.F.R. § 275.203(l)-1.
Urban Enterprise Zones means a zone designated by the New Jersey Enterprise Zone Authority pursuant to the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zones Act, N.J.S.A. 52:27H-60 et. seq.
Investment Enterprise means an enterprise to which the Borrower proposes to make or has made an Investment Sub-loan;
Joint Venture” - (Project means two or more businesses joining together under a contractual agreement to conduct a specific business enterprise with both parties sharing profit and losses. The venture is for one specific project only, rather than for a continuing business relationship as in a strategic alliance. It is about sharing risk with others and providing one or more missing and needed assets and competencies.
Blackstone means collectively, The Blackstone Group L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, and any Affiliate thereof (excluding any natural persons and any portfolio companies of any Blackstone-sponsored fund).
General partnership means an organization formed under chapters 45-13 through 45-21.
consortium or joint venture means an association of persons for the purpose of combining their expertise, property, capital, efforts, skill and knowledge in an activity for the execution of a contract;
Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.
Co-Venturer means any other entity with whom the Company or an Affiliate of Company is or may be from time to time a Party to a joint operating agreement or unitisation agreement or similar agreement relating to the operations for which the Work is being performed or otherwise for whose benefit the Work are being performed and the successors in interest of such Co-Venturer or the assignees of any interest of such Co-Venturer.
CCMA means the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration established in terms of section 112 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995;
Joint Venture means any joint venture entity, whether a company, unincorporated firm, undertaking, association, joint venture or partnership or any other entity.
Permitted Joint Ventures means one or more joint ventures formed (a) by the contribution of some or all of the assets of the Company’s or a Permitted Affiliate Parent’s business solutions division pursuant to a Business Division Transaction to a joint venture formed by the Company, a Permitted Affiliate Parent or any of the Restricted Subsidiaries with one or more joint venturers and/or (b) for the purposes of network and/or infrastructure sharing with one or more joint venturers.

Community Contribution Company means a corporation formed under the laws of British Columbia that includes in its articles the following statement:
